Cable channel JTBC recently announced its entire line-up of cast for its upcoming web drama series which will be aired starting July.

Producing director Oh Hwan-min stated, “We have decided to go forth with this long-term project to create diverse contents and provide a chance for rookie directors and writers to build experience. We will put out fresh projects with this unconstrained platform.”

For its first installment, the drama will be called A Person You Could Know (literal title), which is about someone who unlocks an ex-lover’s phone and reminisces about love. Lead cast include Girls’ Generation’s Choi Sooyoung (Police Unit 38), Lee Won-geun (Mystery Queen), and Shim Hee-sup (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People).

Second in the line-up will be Hip Hop Teacher (literal title). It will center around the life of an elementary school music teacher who escapes her boring life by creating an underground hip hop project for fun. Lee Joo-young (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo), Girl’s Day’s Yura, and An Woo-yeon (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) have been cast as the main characters.

Third project delves into the life of a man, who used to be a school outcast, travels back in time to save his first love from death. This romantic comedy series is titled Somehow 18.

The fourth drama is a JYP Production titled Magic School. This fantasy web drama will revolve around a group of four students who become part of a magical school. GOT7’s Jinyoung (Legend of the Blue Sea) is set to play a teenager who has not dated his whole life, Yoon Park (Introverted Boss) as a man with a cold facade and a sad heart, and 2PM’s Nichkhun as a poor guy with a warm personality.
