Han Hyo-joo (W-Two Worlds) is offered to play the female lead in the highly anticipated alternate-reality action movie Jin-roh: The Wolf Brigade.

The Korean adaptation of the original Japanese animation is set in an alternate universe where preparations for the unification of North and South Korea have been ongoing for the past seven years. However, an anti-unification faction will add up to the overall political unrest.

If Han Hyo-joo accepts the offer, she will play a character named Lee Yoon-hee. There are no details yet about the character except that she has a sister with the nickname Red Hat.

Meanwhile, Kang Dong-won (Master) will be the movie’s male lead who is a young cop. Jung Woo-sung (The King), on the other hand, was recently offered the role of a higher-ranking police officer.

The filming for Jin-roh: The Wolf Brigade is set to start during the latter part of this year under the direction of Kim Jee-woon (The Good, The Bad, The Weird).
